Aims and Objectives
(of the PCNSW Inc.)
a)
To affiliate with the NSW
Canine Council (hereinafter referred to as RNSWCC);
b)
To promote and encourage the
breeding of healthy pure-bred Poodle dogs;
c)
To promote
and raise the standard of Poodle dogs in
d)
To promote the holding of
Exhibitions;
e)
To conduct Exhibitions;
f)
To foster, promote and
protect the interests of exhibitors of Poodle dogs at Exhibitions;
g)
To collect, verify and
publish information relating to Poodles and the breeding and exhibition of
Poodles;
h)
To educate and encourage
members, Poodle breeders and judges to abide by the requirements and standards
approved by the RNSWCC for the conduct of exhibitions and shows
i)
To promote good fellowship
and sportsmanship among members and those participating in or attending at
exhibitions;
j)
To disseminate information
relating to the ownership and care of dogs, and the responsibility of owners for
the conduct and actions of their dogs;
k)
To hold functions and
lectures relating to dogs (including but not limited to Poodles) and to the
objectives of the club generally;
l)
To make awards and donate
prizes for competition at Exhibitions and for the competition by breeders and
exhibitors of Poodles;
m)
To foster relations with
other canine clubs and bodies having similar aims;
n)
To promote and assist and to
make contributions to canine veterinary research and other canine causes;
o)
To invest the funds of the
club not immediately required in such manner as the members shall determine;
p)
To promote or encourage
interest in the breeding, upkeep, training, general well-being and improvement
of Poodles; and q) To do all such other things as may be incidental, ancillary, necessary or conducive to thereto.
