Fundraising

Like all not for profit community groups the Poodle Club is always looking at ways to obtain the funds to run its activities at a standard that the Members deserve and the public will find attractive. In 2011 this has include running raffles and doing sausage sizzles at Bunnings.

Supporting Judges Training

Members of the Poodle Club provide Breed Lectures about Poodles for aspiring judges, as well as providing Poodles for them to gain guided practical experience in assessing. Some Members also open their kennel to the trainees to visit to deepen their understanding of the breed.

Puppy Register

Members of the public regulary contact the Poodle Club asking if Poodle puppies or Adult Poodles are available. To help them the club operates a Puppy register service where members can advice what puppies they have available and the public can be put in touch with the breeders.
