The Committee, and in particular the Show Secretary, plans and runs two Championship shows every year, at Easter and in October. These shows are conducted by the Club exclusively for ANKC Registered Poodles of all three varieties. The Poodles are judged for relative merit in terms of the requirements set out in the Poodle Standard.

Conducting a Show involves administrative liaison with Dogs NSW, identifying and contracting the judges and stewards, getting sponsorship, advertising and promoting the show, taking entries and making up the catalogue, selecting and buying trophies, sashes and ribbons, preparing the venue, organizing food and drink, assisting the judge and steward during the day, helping visiting members of the public, making sure exhibitors have a good time and get value for money, and finally, accounting to members for the income and expenditure of the show.
